Global rubber demand is expected to slow down in early 2008 -- IRSG

according to Singapore on April 1, the International Rubber Research Organization (IRSG) said on Tuesday that global rubber consumption is expected to have declined in early 2008, so the supply gap of natural rubber in March fell to 78000 tons

the organization also revised the consumption growth forecast of natural rubber and synthetic rubber last year, from the previous 5.7% to 6.2%, so the consumption reached 22.93 million tons
