Siemens launched staff activities in Beijing to support world earth day by recycling waste paper

Siemens called on 343000 employees worldwide to participate in earth day themed activities. In China, in response to the theme of this year's world earth day, Siemens joined hands with public welfare organizations to organize employees to recycle waste paper generated in office and home life for reuse. Recycled items will enter the government's environmental protection industry chain through professional sorting centers. During the event, Siemens recycled a total of 764 kg of waste paper, which can produce about 650 kg of recycled paper with good quality, saving 195 degrees of electricity, 13 tons of water, and 11 fewer trees. Siemens also plans to use low-carbon gifts and stationery made of recycled paper in the future
